Homogeneous

Last updated: October 23, 2017

What Does Homogeneous Mean?

Homogenous refers to uniformity across the molecular and structural components of a material. Homogenous metals and alloys have a greater likelihood of causing catastrophic structural failure when used widely in a given application. However, in relation to this, remediation and corrosion prevention practices are also more easily applied to homogenous structures.
