I am familiar with many corrosion and substrate protection topics as a result of writing and editing for the paint and coatings sector for 26 years. A chemist by training, I have both an honours degree and a doctorate in chemistry from the University of Surrey.
My career started with the Paint Research Association in 1997 and since then I have written more than 400 articles for the global paint and chemical sector, launched two industry newsletters and been involved with many coatings journals around the world. I've written about the paint markets in more than 100 different countries as part of a library of reports that I have authored and overseen. In 2006 I was listed in Who's Who for my work on behalf of the paint and coatings sector.
