Merrick Alpert

Bio

Prior to EonCoat, Merrick Alpert served in increasingly senior executive positions at R&D Altanova, Colt’s Manufacturing Company, Turbine Generator Maintenance, Eceptionist, Enron Energy Services, Pacific Gas & Electric and Smith Cogeneration International. In 2009 Merrick Alpert ran a grassroots campaign challenging then incumbent United States Senator Christopher Dodd (D-CT) to a primary election, forcing Dodd to drop out of the race and give up the Senate seat Dodd had held for 30 years. Prior to his business career, Merrick Alpert served in the United States Military. He enlisted in the National Guard in 1994, eventually earning his commission as a First Lieutenant. In 1998 Merrick Alpert volunteered for deployment to Bosnia as a Captain in the 129th Rescue Wing and for his lifesaving actions in a valley outside of Sarajevo, he was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal. Merrick Alpert is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
