Nickel alloys are a diverse group of materials used in a wide variety of extremely corrosive conditions. This webinar will present the corrosive chemicals where each family of nickel alloys may be suitable, some of the limitations, and just as importantly, where they should not be used in order to avoid very expensive mistakes. Some nickel alloys should only be used in reducing corrosive chemicals, others can be used in reducing and oxidizing conditions.

Other topics include where to find corrosion information and how to interpret, how to properly specify a nickel alloy, and a few misconceptions regarding nickel alloys will be covered. Please note that this webinar is purely informational – the Nickel Institute neither produces nor sells nickel alloys, we only provide a proper understanding of their use.

This webinar is being held to aid with COVID-19 relief. If you are able, please place a donation to GlobalGiving's Disaster Recovery Network's Coronavirus Relief Fund: https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/coronavirus-relief-fund/

Any amount you are able to give is greatly appreciated by GlobalGiving's Disaster Recovery Network.
